WorkPapers Support

WorkPapers is compatible with all versions of Windows and Apple OS X 10.2 or later. If you have an operating system released prior to this version, please upgrade your operating system prior to installing and using WorkPapers.


Getting Started

Before requesting support via email, web, or otherwise, we encourage you to read the readme.txt file that is automatically saved in the Applications/WorkPapers folder on your hard disk. If you have a support question that may not be covered in the online help or other documentation, please email your question to wpsupport@bizolutions.com.

The most recent version of online help is available at this link: Help.zip (826 KB). Download and uncompress the folder, then replace this Help folder with the Help folder that is in the WorkPapers application folder.

Installation

On Apple OS X systems, the WorkPapers program is installed by dragging the WorkPapers folder from the virtual disk to the Applications folder on Macintosh systems. The WorkPapers folder includes the WorkPapers program, usage instructions, help documentation, and readme file.

On Windows systems the default install is boot drive -> Program Files -> WorkPapers. No other files are installed anywhere else on your hard disk.

On Windows and Apple computers, projects created will automatically be saved in a database file named "WorkPapersDB.rsd". This data file is created and must reside within the same directory as the application executable file. The "WorkPapersDB.rsd" file contains all work performed within WorkPapers and should be saved elsewhere and backed up regularly; and especially prior to upgrading WorkPapers software.

If you are reinstalling WorkPapers, or upgrading WorkPapers, please understand that the installation will fail until you delete the 'WorkPapers' folder from the 'Applications' directory on Apple OS X systems, and delete from Program Files folder on Windows systems.

Registration

Registration of WorkPapers is a two-part process. An unlicensed version of WorkPapers is limited to 15 task inputs altogether (for all projects stored). To register the software after purchasing, click on the WorkPapers pull-down menu and select Registration. Input your first name, and last name exactly as registered and listed in the registration email. Next, input the serial number exactly listed in the registration notification email.
