About Bizolutions
WorkPapers is an audit, investigation, and documentation project management electronic working papers program designed for financial auditors, systems auditors, penetration testers, attorneys, investigators, compliance managers, and others. Most recently, WorkPapers has aided in numerous Sarbanes-Oxley internal control testing projects.
About WorkPapers
Development of WorkPapers was inspired by the fact that all electronic working papers products on the market are developed exclusively for Microsoft Windows, with the exception of one product that requires Lotus Notes software.
WorkPapers is designed for the practitioner group that chooses to use other computing platforms and/or Microsoft Windows as well. Recently, many information systems auditors are using linux and OS X for the availability of Unix tools, and easy porting of Linux tools. When executing information systems audits (including forensics inverstigations, incident handling projects, and penetration tests) in any computing environment, WorkPapers offers a solution to gathering, organizing, and reporting the work steps completed and documents accumulated during such projects. WorkPapers was originally developed on Apple's Cocoa development framework, then recently migrated to RealBasic for crossplatform capability.
The Team
Bizolutions development team is spread between four different locations globally -- Japan, Guam, San Diego, and London. The main development is managed out of Yokohama, Japan with support coming from the other three parts of the world.
All developers on the project have financial audit, systems audit, and forensics investigation experience; but also love programming.
